Hawaiian Day @ ACET

Lei Blog

A Hawaiian themed ‘End of Summer’ party took place at Wellington House today, as we near the end of what has been another wonderful summer in Cork.

For today reception was transformed into Honolulu Beach, with visiting hula dancers, tropical fruits and cocktail juices enjoyed by all.  Along with our ukulele background music, it was a hilariously fun Cork style Hawaiian experience!

The ACET team donned a variety of hula shirts, grass skirts and cocktail dresses for the occasion with some of the students sporting interesting pirate inspired homemade costumes, for which we applaud their wonderful effort!

For some today was their final day at ACET as their summer studies come to an end, but it certainly ended on a fun note! To those that return to your home countries this weekend, we wish you a safe journey, and we hope to see many of you back next year.
